Description
These cufflinks are handcrafted from wood reclaimed from the South Transept of York Minster Cathedral — a building whose history dates to c1250 — following the devastating fire of 9th July 1984. The provenance of this wood is certified by the Superintendent of Works at York Minster at the time the wood was reclaimed.
Each pair of cufflinks is made by hand in York, set in a simple but elegant silver-toned mount. No two pairs are identical — the grain of the wood ensures each set is completely unique.
Every pair comes in a presentation box with an engraved Minster Woods crest, together with an original signed certificate of authenticity.
The supply of York Minster oak is limited and will never be replenished. Each piece you see here may be one of the last of its kind.
