Please be aware that these are a LIMITED item! These was only a limited amount of wood from the fire at York Minster.
An extremely rare chance to own a piece of history, reclaimed from the World famous York Minster Cathedral and dated by the Church to the 13th Century (c 1250) the wood is reclaimed from the South Transept, which caught fire in 1984
The wood is taken from the beams and structure which supported the roof of the South Transept. Treated, preserved and hand made by local craftsmen into these pens.
This purchase for the Fountain Pen carries a signed certificate of authenticity from the Dean and Chapter House of York Minster

Ink Cartridge and Converter Cartridges
The pen is a Fountain type with medium nib, available on selection of Gold Plated, Chromed or Gun Metal with Gold Nib.
They use German made Iridium Nibs with a very smooth feel when writing
Each pen uses a converter cartridge and bottled ink but can use standard ink cartridges available at the following link:
Each pen is presented in a simple but elegant A5 White box with an engraved wooden plate.
The pens can be used daily and for regular use but we recommend storing as a future heirloom
